Music, like every other human artform, can tell extremely real, deep emotional stories about a certain time period.

The most powerful songs are those that you can feel that true, raw emotion from the lyrics and performance. Rather than just reading about a time period in a textbook, music allows for a deeper level of learning helping students understand the real struggles and real emotions from fellow humans.

Music can be a beneficial learning tool for students that don’t understand why they have to learn history in school.
